Terms of Use

Last updated: June 24, 2026

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) form an agreement between you and Vladimír Cortes Slavík, trading as AI Archeology (“we”, “us”), and govern your use of the ML Browser application (the “App”) and the website at aiarcheology.com (together, the “Service”). By using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

ML Browser is a web browser that runs vision (machine-learning) models on your device to detect objects in web content. Some models are provided only as demonstrations. Detection results are provided for general purposes and may be inaccurate or incomplete; do not rely on them for safety-critical, legal, or professional decisions.

2. Accounts

Some features require an account. You agree to provide accurate information, keep your sign-in credentials secure, and are responsible for activity under your account. You may delete your account at any time in the App (Settings → Manage Account) or by emailing us.

3. Subscriptions and payments

Paid features are offered as an auto-renewable subscription sold and processed by Apple through the App Store; Apple is the merchant of record and Apple’s terms (including the standard EULA) apply to the purchase. A subscription renews automatically until cancelled, and any free-trial period converts to a paid subscription unless cancelled beforehand. Manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple ID settings; deleting the App does not cancel a subscription. Prices and trial terms may change for future periods with notice. Refunds are handled by Apple.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service, including: breaking applicable laws; interfering with or disrupting the Service; attempting to reverse engineer, circumvent security, or access it by unauthorized means; or using it to infringe others’ rights. You are responsible for the websites you choose to visit and the content you process.

5. Intellectual property

The Service, including the App and its models, software, and branding, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by law. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Service for its intended purpose. Content you capture on your device remains yours.

6. Third-party content

The Service lets you view third-party websites that we do not control or endorse and are not responsible for. Your use of third-party sites is governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

7. Disclaimers

To the extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that detection results are accurate or that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

8. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law (for example, for intent, gross negligence, injury to life, body, or health, or under mandatory product-liability or consumer-protection law). Your statutory rights as a consumer remain unaffected.

9. Consumers in the EU/EEA — right of withdrawal

If you are a consumer in the EU/EEA, you may have a statutory right to withdraw from a purchase within 14 days. For digital content and services, this right may end early once performance begins with your prior express consent and acknowledgement that you thereby lose the withdrawal right. Where purchases are made through Apple, Apple’s cancellation and refund processes apply.

10. Changes

We may update the Service and these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated Terms here with a new date and, where required, provide additional notice. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

11. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or end access if you materially breach these Terms or where required by law.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Germany, excluding its conflict-of-laws rules and the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. If you are a consumer, you also enjoy the mandatory protections of the law of your country of residence.
